KENC competes in the Essendon District Netball Association Saturday competition

Our teams compete in the Essendon District Netball Association Saturday competition

Games are held at the Riverside Netball Courts, Newsom Street, Ascot Vale

Training

Training is held at Aberfeldie Primary School, 1 Doone St, Aberfeldie

Park and enter via Ramsay Street


Monday nights:

NetSetGo (U10's) and 11&Under:  4:30-5:30pm

13&Under and 15&Under: 5:30-6:30pm

18&Under and Open: 5:30-6:30pm

Uniforms

Net Set Go (U10s) and U11s players are required to wear the compulsory uniform items on Competition days.

Option 1: Club Singlet and Club Skort

Senior players are required to wear the compulsory uniform items on Competition days.
Option 1: Club Dress (plus black LYCRA under shorts of own choosing. Cotton undershorts not allowed)Option 2: Club Singlet and Club Short

Club Communication

KENC uses Stack Team App for all club communications.  You are required to join the chat group for your team. You will first need to download the Stack Team App, set up an account and find Keilor East Netball Club. Once you have joined the Club you will have access to the chats & team info.

Netball Connect App

Your team is on the Netball Connect App, which you will need to use so that you can link your child's team, undertake electronic scoring when rostered, view association news, messages and events. Of course, this is in addition to viewing live scores, draws and ladders!

Team Managers

KENC Team Managers are volunteers, usually parents, and ensure the successful management of the team and welfare of the players in their care, whilst making sure all on field matters are dealt with efficiently and timely.  They provide support to the Coach.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Communicating with all team members, parents, coaches and officials to ensure all are informed of training, competition and club functions
  • Ensure all parents/guardians have Netball Connect and Team Stack App installed and set up
  • Ensuring a scorer has been assigned to Home games through Netball Connect App. 
  • Acting as liaison officer between the club and the team
  • Attend to administration matters as directed by the Club Secretary 
  • Document any problems that arise between team members, parents, coaches and supports and present these to the Secretary or General Committee 
  • Ensure the relevant equipment is available at training and competitions including a first aid kit
  • Be available for your Coach, they may ask you to run for a first aider during the game, call for an Umpire Supervisor, etc. 
  • Be aware of Netball Victoria’s Child Safety in Netball Code of Conduct – athletes under 18 years must be supervised at all times 
  • Assist with the coordination of club events such as team photographs, fundraising and club functions
